Isn't that crazy? I would not recommend this place. The second issue is that all the video poker and blackjack games were out of order. There was a manager who was just standing around watching the chaos but never jumped in to help. But, at least have bartenders available to take drink orders. I'd be willing to let all of that go, in light of the fact that it is a reservation owned casino. Can't order a double, can't order a drink for your husband if he isn't with you and can't order a second drink until you are finished with your first. Its annoying that you can't order a drink without showing ID, every single time. Ive been to casinos all over the world, and money is to be made on drinks. It was a 10 minute wait before we could even order a drink which is ridiculous. And we will recommend it to our friends and relatives.We came to the casino, a large group of us, looking to get our drink on and gamble. If we ever find ourselves in that neck of the woods again we will definitely stay again. I had to walk all the way through the smoke filled casino to get to any Keno machines I like to play and the non-smoking section. Also the hotel and casino were a little separated. I did miss an in-room coffee maker and microwave.

Thank you Chumash Hotel for bringing back those valued amenities. It’s so nice to have the bed made and room tidied when on vacation. They also have housekeeping daily at your request. There was valet and bell service with extremely friendly and helpful staff. There was an extra electrical outlet plus multi ports for phone or other electronic devices, built into the bedside table. There were a good amount of electrical and charging ports. The lighting in the room was bright and plenty of lights.

The only thing I would really like to see, is detachable shower head sprayers. We are both retired now and starting to feel our years so the walk-in shower was a huge plus. We were quite pleased with our accommodations. We stayed 2 nights at Chumash Hotel Casino. My husband and I just returned from a short road trip.
